Information grown-ups provide
When a grown-up creates an account, the application may process the grown-up’s name, email address, authentication information and account verification status. When someone uses the contact form, we process the submitted name, email address and message so the team can review and respond. Password authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication; Squish Makers does not display or store a readable copy of the password.
Maker profiles and creations
A grown-up may create maker profiles containing a maker name, selected color and age band. The application may also store toys, builds or other creations associated with a maker. Grown-ups should use a nickname or another non-sensitive label and should not enter unnecessary personal information about a child.
Signed-out use and browser storage
When the application is used without a verified account, maker profiles, preferences or creation information may be stored in the browser’s local or session storage. This information remains on that browser until it is cleared, replaced, migrated to an authenticated account where supported, or removed through browser controls.
Cookies, local storage and consent
Necessary storage is used for authentication, security, consent records, and features a grown-up asks the service to provide. Optional preference storage can remember interface choices such as sound. The application does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Where consent is the legal basis, a grown-up can decline optional storage without losing core account functions and can change that choice at any time.
Manage your privacy choices
Review or update the optional storage allowed on this device.
Service providers
Squish Makers uses Google Firebase services for application hosting, authentication, server functions and cloud data storage. Those services may process technical information such as IP addresses, device or browser information, timestamps, authentication tokens and request logs as needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
- To authenticate grown-ups and protect account settings
- To load, save and synchronize maker profiles and supported creations
- To respond to submitted comments, recommendations and questions
- To remember application preferences such as sound settings
- To operate, secure, diagnose and improve the application
Children’s privacy and global use
Squish Makers is designed for young children and requires grown-up involvement. Account management is intended for a parent, guardian, educator or other responsible adult. Do not enter a child’s email address, precise location, school details or other sensitive information into maker names or creation names. Privacy and consent rules differ by country, including age thresholds for parental authorization. We will use age-appropriate notices, data minimization and grown-up controls, and will complete jurisdiction-specific review before offering production services in a new market.
Printing, vendors and delivery data
No public production printing or ordering workflow is currently connected. An early controlled system may send an approved design to a 3D printer service on the same local network. The planned production model may share an approved design file, recipient and delivery address, order details and fulfillment instructions with vetted third-party printing and shipping vendors. Before launch, this notice and the checkout experience will identify the participating processors, purposes, locations, safeguards, retention and grown-up choices that apply.
Retention and choices
Grown-ups can remove maker profiles in grown-up settings and can sign out of an account. Some account deletion or support operations may require an administrative request while those controls are being developed. Browser-stored data can also be removed through the browser’s site-data controls.
